yerp- as mY favourite no, most beautiful combination in the world! *grin* 7 and 11. =) but the theme- pink and light purple- errr, not really....
ouh,nvm, so i gave 11 hantarans to fiance (light purple), and i get 7 hantarans in return -and of coz in pink! and yes, i chose the sangkar, i really wanna put everything in the sangkar, since 3 years ago, i dreamt of using sangkar instead of box for my hantaran stuffs.

*note for stefan- hantaran is gifts exchange between the bride and groom, it considered as a compulsory for malays.its a tradition anyway. The gifts are normally clothes, some accessories, cakes or 'kuih'( traditional cakes). But for us, we chose to give more sweets and foods for engagment hantaran, no shoes or handbag, ouh n say no to perfume! but for wedding hantaran, i think u will like it a lot stef, bcoz u gonna label us as *gadget freak*- wait, ill list down my wedding hantarans in the next entry...=)

for the gubahan hantaran,actually my mom sent it to her friends, but i didnt like the way she did the gubahan, so i went to the market, get the birds and butterflies and luckily i have a cousin who knows how to make my hantaran look prettier, nicer and better than what i've got before and (credit to kak ila), no doubt! she is very talented in doing gubahan hantaran and actually she do dis kind of bussiness! wanna try? gimme a ring, ill connect u directly to her =) promo2!

what's inside the goodie bag? =)

Other than serve our guests wif d'famous malacca assam pedas + gulai nangka + ayam goreng berempah + ikan masin + sambal belacan + otak2 popia goreng + curry puff (ouh yeah, we served malay cuisine and at the same time promoting + introducing people to our 'malacca's most famous assam pedas tetel'), we also gave the guests cute pink goodie bag (follow the theme kan kami?)=)
The purpose behind gift bags for out of town guests is to thank the guests for traveling such distances to be with the bride and groom-to-be ni- InsyaALLAH.
Of course, the best thing about any goodie bag is the special surprise within.special ke rakan2 =) =P

Our decisions- and place for wedding

since i still dont have edited pictures from mr photographer, lets talk bout sumthing else first.

ok,what have been deicded on dat engagement day between both side-me familia and d'fiance's?

*penting untuk those who'll be getting married soon* =P

so, 3 main things have been discussed:

1) Date of wedding and and also the period of time between proposal and marriage – which may be lengthy or trivial. our decision: engagement period will be six months and d'date of our wedding for my side is on 13th december 2009. our akad nikah ceremony will be on 12th december 2009.

2) Duit hantaran - this one have been decided by encik boyfren (mase tu la kan), my family didnt put any price, so, as agreed, RM25,000,00. kerana saye berusia 25 tahun... if i tau , i ajak die kawen at d'age of 40..hahahahah...but he told me to get married this year, if lambat2,sile cari org laen...hampeh!

3) Mas kahwin- me and beau (mase tu la kan), scratch our head to pick up any possible numbers to make it as our mas kahwin, after pening2 pk, i decided to pick this number - RM114.30. its not our birthday combination ke ape(old school occay =P)..it something related to........ sile teka!!!!! =P sape dapat jawab, dapat sebatang pencil =)

ok, for wedding on 13th December (my side), it will be held at malacca international trade centre (MITC) - *pic of MITC later k, havent capture any pic of MITC- lupeee giler!akad nikah ceremony - 12th Dec at my parent's + malam berinai besar.

for mr boyfren's side- most probably *insyaALLAH* 19th December- at our new home - nanti sat mintak permission kat kak lyn (ayong, dah bley panggil our new home ke?- since we are not married yet =) hhehehe-seb baek dpt bakal kakak ipar sporting camni) actually its my fiance's home. he bought it 2 years ago, which dat tyme we didnt know each other yet, and dat tyme i already paid booking fees and downpayment for my new house at rawang, so, bagusla, sorang beli rumah kat cheras, sorang lagi kat rawang. then we met up. have to let go one house laaa.. i selaku seorang future wife yg taat, so let go my house...cit *ikhlas ni,ikhlas, if tak mr boyfren opps, mr fiance majok*. hopefully he'll get d'key for his house in august, do renovation, cabinet and few important things cket, then d'majlis di situlaaa...here picture of his house, but more pictures in his sister's blog- click here , okie peeps, ngantuk sudaaa...may mr fiance arrive at Dubai safely, then arrive at houston safely, then arrvie at new orleans safely, then definitely he'll be onboard safely -amin- aiyyooo, bnyk tempat transit bfore going back to his 1st home - vessel! uwaaaaa....he'll be away for 8 weeks again! nak nangis sat bley tak? wuwuwuwuw

heheheh...but Alhamdulillah,after knowing each other for a year +, on 31st may 2009, we got engaged....

This blog wil be filled wif my engagement stories, starting from preparation part, the hantarans, the guests, door gifts, and the story of engagement day itself ,ouh and picturesof course =)

so,will do it part by part,if i put it all in one entry,im afraid i cant get off my butt from this chair, and i need to sit in front of my lappie for the whole week...kekekke....



so, where should we start? preparation part? not much actually, engagement saje, not wedding yet......but thats what people said..

for me, serabut giler! last minute some more!

but it was fun though, ke"adventure" an berkejar2an d'day before dat was very exciting =P

for me, i cant let people hadle my big day without being fussy or juz agree wif everything they suggest to me and choose for me, and yes, technically, i let my mom handling it, catering part, khemah2, pelamin, hantaran decos and few small things.. but at last, i dok interfere until i think i changed all the plan and things which my mom sudah berpenat lelah settling it 1-2 months bfore i get engaged.

biaselakan, fussy....last2 mommy said, "nanti kawen handle sendiri..takmo die layan i dah..."

hehehhe..."i kawen ade wedding planner la mak, no need ur help pon, mak dok diam2 saje", seraya saye mereply...mommy said "ouh, mak sangat lega, takmo pening2 pale lagi layan kamu"



anyway, dats me..i designed my hantaran, baju, i chose the colour and theme, i decided what to put inside the goodie bag, i designed my cakes, i juz let mommy decide the pelamin part and khemah and make up saje (make up ni hafto la plak,bising pulak die nanti). ouh, but i already have a look on d'pelamin bforehand.

so, i chose the design and deco for pelamin.



orang kate tak lawa, takpela...as long as ,for myself i think its beautiful and great.



so mak kate saye fussy, memang pon.... sangat!
